Abstract

Se proveen sistemas y métodos para suturar tejido; una flecha de despliegue alargada porta un ensamble de despliegue de aguja con las agujas que portan material de sutura y un estabilizador que se reconfigura entre un perfil de inserción no expandido y un perfil expandido; un tubo receptor sobre la flecha que tiene un receptor en un extremo distal puede retener por lo menos una porción de las agujas que portan el material de sutura cuando las agujas se pasan a través del tejido que se va a suturar en acoplamiento con el receptor; una cubierta sobre el cubo receptor puede intercalar tejido que se va a suturar contra el estabilizador cuando se expande; un primer accionador puede mover el tubo receptor distalmente con respecto a la flecha para disminuir una distancia entre el extremo proximal del estabilizador y el extremo distal del estabilizador para expandir el estabilizador y puede mover la cubierta distalmente con respecto a la flecha para intercalar el tejido; un segundo accionador puede desviar las agujas radialmente hacia afuera para moverse proximalmente para pasar a través del tejido que se va a suturar y acoplar el receptor y luego regresar una porción de cada una no retenida por el receptor a una posición distal para retirar el dispositivo.
