Abstract

Método para eliminar el sulfuro de hidrógeno de los fluidos tales como fluidos y efluentes de perforación, tratamiento y producción de pozos gasíferos y petroleros, a partir de operaciones de hidrocarburo y operaciones de minería minerales. El depurador de sulfuro utilizado en el método es una sal de gluconato distinta a gluconato ferroso. La sal de gluconato se agrega al fluido junto con una fuente de hierro si el hierro aún no está en el fluido. El gluconato reacciona con el hierro y forma gluconato de hierro en el fluido, que a su vez reacciona con el sulfato de hidrógeno para formar sulfuro de hidrógeno que se puede eliminar fácilmente del fluido.
