Abstract
Se presenta un sistema y método para monitorear a un sujeto; el sistema incluye un dispositivo de detección que incluye por lo menos una fuente magnética para generar un campo magnético y una matriz de sensores magnéticos dispuestos dentro del campo magnético; la matriz de sensores obtiene una pluralidad de mediciones del campo magnético en una pluralidad de posiciones a lo largo de un vaso que transporta un fluido que incluye una o más partículas magnéticas; además, el sistema incluye un subsistema de procesamiento acoplado comunicativamente con el dispositivo de detección, en donde el subsistema de procesamiento determina las variaciones en las mediciones causadas por la magnetización-relajación de las partículas magnéticas sobre la base de un modelo acoplado que define el comportamiento del fluido en el campo magnético variable, basado en los principios de magnetización-relajación, movimiento en masa de las partículas magnéticas hacia un determinado gradiente del campo magnético, magnetostática y conservación de la cantidad de movimiento; el subsistema de procesamiento calcula valores de uno o más parámetros deseados basándose en las variaciones determinadas.
