Abstract
Un comprobador de juntas mecánicas de aislamiento eléctrico para juntas mecánicas (21, 22) que conecta raíles de los siguientes segmentos de vía (11, 12) de una línea de ferrocarril, formando parte cada segmento de vía de un circuito de vía. El segmento de vía (11, 12) comprende unidades de transmisión (3) y unidades de recepción (4) de señales eléctricas para transmitir y recibir señales de detección de presencia de un tren dentro de dicho segmento de vía y/o relativas señales de comunicación entre el tren (7) y el segmento de vía. Dichas señales de detección de presencia de un tren y dichas señales de comunicación comprenden una señal adicional de detección de la junta, generada y transmitida por las unidades de transmisión (3) y recibida por las unidades de recepción (4) que pertenecen al mismo segmento de vía (11), estando la señal de detección de la junta relacionada con el segmento de vía (11) diferente al menos en lo que respecta a la relativo a los segmentos de vía (12) adyacentes. La invención se refiere también a un método para detectar un fallo o rotura de una junta mecánica dentro de un segmento de vía (11).
