Abstract
Para obtener una conversión de intervalo dinámico de luminancia buena y todavía fácil de usar, se describe un decodificador de video de HDR (250) que comprende un aparato de procesamiento de color de imagen (200) dispuesto para transformar un color de entrada (Y´UV_LDR) de un pixel de una imagen de entrada (IM_in), tal imagen de entrada tiene un primer intervalo dinámico de luminancia (DR_1), a un color de salida de componente de color rojo, verde y azul (R´o, G´o, B´o) de un pixel de una imagen de salida (Im_rs; REC_HDR), tal imagen de salida tiene un segundo intervalo dinámico de luminancia (DR_2), por lo que la luminancia máxima del primer intervalo dinámico es por lo menos 2 veces más baja que la luminancia máxima del segundo intervalo dinámico o viceversa, que comprende una unidad de mapeo burdo (202; 552) dispuesta para aplicar una curva de re-graduación de brillantez de tres segmentos que consiste de un segmento lineal para un sub-intervalo oscuro (SR_d) del intervalo de lumas de los colores de imagen de entrada que comprenden los valores de luma de entrada más oscuros, que es determinado por una variable de pendiente (InvBet), un segundo segmento lineal para los valores de luma de entrada más claros en el sub-intervalo brillante (SR_br), que es controlado por una segunda variable de pendiente (InvAlph) y un segmento parabólico entre los dos segmentos lineales.
