Abstract
Una unidad de pantalla de diodo orgánico de emisión de luz, un método de excitación de la misma y un dispositivo de pantalla son descritos. Al menos parte de las unidades de pixel (11) son unidades de píxel (11) cada una con una estructura apilada; Cada unidad de pixel (11) con la estructura apilada incluye dos grupos apilados adyacentes de unidad de sub-píxel (110); y cada grupo apilado de unidad de sub-píxel (110) incluye al menos dos unidades de sub-pixel (111) que tienen diferentes colores de emisión y son apiladas y aisladas entre sí. Durante la visualización de diferentes cuadros de imagen, cada grupo apilado de unidad de sub-píxel (110) en cada unidad de píxel (11) con la estructura apilada puede visualizar el efecto de escala de gris al menos de dos colores en función de las señales aplicadas. Comparado con un procedimiento que cada unidad de sub15 pixel sólo puede visualizar el efecto de escala de gris de un solo color para diferentes cuadros de imagen, el efecto de visualización puede ser mejorado.
