Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a escenas sonoras en 3D, las cuales pueden sintetizarse o capturarse como un campo sonoro natural. Para la decodificación, se requiere una matriz de decodificación que sea específica para una determinada configuración de altavoz y se genera utilizando las posiciones de altavoz conocidas. Sin embargo, algunas direcciones de la fuente se atenúan para las configuraciones de altavoz en 2D, como por ejemplo, 5.1 surround.
