Abstract

En la presente invención se proporcionan métodos y sistemas para el reconocimiento facial. El método incluye determinar un modelo tridimensional (3D) de una cara de un individuo con base en imágenes diferentes del individuo. El método también incluye extraer las porciones bidimensionales (2D) del modelo 3D. Además, el método incluye generar una pluralidad de firmas de la cara utilizando diferentes combinaciones de porciones 2D, en donde la pluralidad de firmas corresponde a las vistas respectivas del modelo 3D desde diferentes ángulos.
