Abstract
La invención se refiere a sistema de protección de presión de alta integridad (HIPPS 1), en donde el HIPPS (1) tiene una válvula de encendido/apagado (2), con una carcasa (10), en donde la carcasa (10) tiene una entrada (11) y una salida (12) y un conducto (13) para el paso de un fluido desde la entrada (11) hasta la salida (12), y con un elemento de cierre (14), en el que en una posición abierta el elemento de cierre (14) abre el conducto (13) para permitir el paso y en una posición de cierre el elemento de cierre (14) cierra el conducto (13) para restringir el paso, y un accionador hidráulico (3), que tiene un elemento de control (23) que está cinemáticamente fijado al elemento de cierre (14), y una unidad de suministro hidráulico conmutable (4), que en un estado activo suministra a una cara de control (25) del elemento de control (23) una presión de control, y en un estado pasivo libera la presión de control de la cara de control (25), midiendo un sensor la presión del fluido aguas abajo, aguas abajo de la salida (12), y un solucionador lógico que compara la presión aguas abajo con un valor crítico, que conmuta la unidad de suministro hidráulico (4) al estado activo para permitir que el elemento de cierre (14) permanezca en la posición abierta, siempre que la presión aguas abajo esté por debajo del valor crítico, y que conmuta la unidad de suministro hidráulico (4) al estado pasivo para permitir que el elemento de cierre (14) se mueva a, o permanezca en la posición de cierre, siempre que la presión aguas abajo exceda el valor crítico. La invención se refiere además a un método para operar tal HIPPS (1). La invención propone que una cara opuesta del elemento de control (23), opuesto a la cara de control (25), se exponga a la presión aguas abajo del fluido, de modo que la presión aguas abajo del fluido empuja el elemento de cierre (14) a la posición de cierre, para proporcionar seguridad contra fallos, durante un fallo en la liberación de la presión de control.
