Abstract
Mecanismo de prevención de flujo auxiliar para impedir el escape desde la salida de una válvula de aire debido a un mal funcionamiento de sellado de un tapón primario dispuesto en un conducto primario de un sistema de canalización. El mecanismo incluye un conducto auxiliar acoplado aguas abajo del conducto primario. El mecanismo incluye además un tapón auxiliar alojado dentro del conducto auxiliar. El tapón auxiliar está configurado para sellar una salida del conducto auxiliar cuando el tapón primario se encuentra en una posición de sellado pero no impide la descarga de fluido desde una salida del conducto primario, por lo cual después de que suficiente fluido llene la válvula de aire, el aumento resultante de nivel de fluido empuja el tapón auxiliar a una posición de sellado para sellar una salida del conducto auxiliar, impidiendo la descarga de fluido desde la misma. Se proporciona una indicación visual del mal funcionamiento de sellado mediante una válvula o sensor de presión que detecta la presencia de fluido en una sección de conducto aguas abajo.
