Abstract

Un quemador de combustible sólido/oxígeno de llama amplia que incluye una boquilla de combustible que tiene una relación dimensional de por lo menos aproximadamente 2 definida por la relación de un ancho de boquilla de combustible, W, medido a lo largo de una línea central de eje mayor, a una altura de boquilla de combustible, H, medida a lo largo de una línea central de eje menor, y paredes largas espaciadas de manera sustancial simétricamente desde la línea central de eje mayor, la boquilla de combustible que tiene un ancho de entrada WN; y un par de paletas guía posicionadas en cualquier lado de la línea central de eje mayor entre esa línea central y una pared larga adyacente, las paletas guía que divergen de la línea central de eje mayor en la dirección de flujo por un ángulo tal que las paletas guía están más cercanas conjuntamente en un extremo corriente arriba y adicionalmente aparte en un extremo corriente abajo, para de esta manera formar un difusor central entre las paletas guía y una boquilla que converge exteriormente entre cada paleta guía y una de las paredes largas.
