Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método de cebado de semillas secas, en donde dichas semillas, en primer lugar, se humedecen de tal manera que la semilla absorba al menos 75 % en peso de la cantidad de agua requerida por la semilla para entrar en la fase II de absorción de agua. Posteriormente, el contenido de humedad de la semilla se reduce en al menos 1 unidad de porcentaje y de tal manera que el contenido de humedad resultante de la semilla sea aún inferior que al menos el 25 %. Por último, la semilla se incuba de tal manera que: el peso de la semilla durante la incubación permanezca al menos al 80 %, tal como al menos al 90 % o al menos al 95 %, del peso de la semilla antes de la incubación; y el contenido de humedad (con base en el peso seco) de la semilla durante a incubación permanezca al menos al 25 % durante al menos el 25 % del tiempo de incubación.
