Abstract
Se describe un método de tratamiento de una zona de una formación subterránea de carbonato, penetrada por un pozo de sondeo. El método incluye los pasos de: (a) formar un fluido de tratamiento que comprende: (i) agua, (ii) un polímero soluble en agua que tiene al menos un grupo funcional que puede ser reticulado con aluminio(III); y (iii) un carboxilato de aluminio soluble en agua; en donde el pH del fluido de tratamiento es menor de 1; (b) introducir el fluido de tratamiento a través del pozo de sondeo hacia la zona; y (c) permitir tiempo para que el ácido fuerte en el fluido de tratamiento se gaste en la formación, tal que el pH del fluido se incrementa suficientemente para que el aluminio del carboxilato de aluminio reticule el polímero.
