Abstract
Un método para tratar una formación subterránea penetrada por un pozo se lleva a cabo introduciendo un fluido de tratamiento a la formación a través del pozo, donde la formación tiene una temperatura de formación de al menos 70°C. También se proporciona una composición para dicho tratamiento. La composición y el fluido de tratamiento para el método se forma a partir de agua y una cantidad de fibras formadas a partir de polímeros de alta temperatura de al menos uno de un polímero de poliéster, poliamida, poliuretano, poliurea, y copolímeros de estos cada uno de dichos polímeros de alta temperatura se caracteriza por la propiedad de no degradarse sustancialmente en el agua a un pH de 5 a 9 a temperaturas por debajo de los 80°C. El fluido de tratamiento incluye además un acelerador de degradación de fibras que facilita la degradación de las fibras a la temperatura de formación.
