Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo intrauterino para aplicar presión a las paredes laterales de la cavidad uterina, el dispositivo intrauterino se caracteriza porque comprende: un cuerpo elástico que incluye un miembro alargado que tiene un primer extremo y un segundo extremo que se derivan en forma elástica alejados entre sí, el primer extremo del miembro alargado incluye una primera pata que tiene un primer extremo y un segundo extremo, y el segundo extremo del miembro alargado incluye una segunda pata que tiene un primer extremo y un segundo extremo, en donde un miembro de conexión se ubica entre el primer extremo de la primera pata y el primer extremo de la segunda pata; un primer miembro de tapón sujeto en el segundo extremo de la primera pata y un segundo miembro de tapón sujeto en el segundo extremo de la segunda pata, el primer y segundo miembros de tapón se conforman y dimensionan para apoyar contra las paredes de la cavidad uterina conforme el miembro alargado se extiende hacia afuera con el primer extremo y el segundo extremo que se separan; en donde el primer y segundo miembros de tapón respectivamente aplican una fuerza que esta entre 0.00014 kg-m (o.01 ft-lb) y 0.0035 kg/m (0.025 f-lb), a las paredes laterales de la cavidad uterina.
