Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método y aparato para codificar una señal de video, y más específicamente, un vector de movimiento entre los puntos de vista se obtiene utilizando un valor de profundidad de un bloque de profundidad, que corresponde a un bloque de la textura actual, y se compensa una diferencia de iluminación. Al obtener el vector de movimiento entre los puntos de vista utilizando el valor de profundidad del bloque de profundidad, el cual corresponde al bloque de la textura actual, y compensar la diferencia de la iluminación, la presente invención puede obtener un valor de predicción exacto del bloque de la textura actual y por tanto aumenta la exactitud de la interpredicción entre los puntos de vista.
