Abstract
Se describe un método para incrementar la precisión de un valor de propiedad objetivo derivado de una muestra de roca en el que la muestra se escanea para obtener una imagen digital tomográfica tridimensional que puede procesarse para espacio de poro y fases de material sólido a través de un proceso de segmentación. Se utiliza un proceso que revisa el volumen segmentado, por ejemplo, al incrementar la conectividad de espacio de poro, en una forma que afecte el valor de la propiedad objetivo que pueda derivarse. Otro método descrito incrementa la precisión con la cual un volumen segmentado representa una muestra de material que tiene una estructura no resuelta adecuadamente en una imagen digital tomográfica tridimensional original. Además, se describe un sistema para realizar los procesos, y un volumen digital segmentado que representa con más precisión una muestra de un medio poroso.
