Abstract
Se proveen sensores prevalidados, pre-esterilizados y pre-calibrados, de un solo uso. Estos sensores están diseñados para almacenar información específica del sensor, tal como información de calibración y producción, en un chip de memoria no volátil en el sensor o en un código de barras impreso en el sensor. Estos sensores pueden ser utilizados con sistemas en línea, circuitos cerrados de fluidos, sistemas de bioprocesamiento, o sistemas que requieren un ambiente aséptico, mientras evitan o reducen los procedimientos de limpieza y las varianzas de garantía de calidad. Los sensores presentan tanto su función de detección primaria tal como conductividad, nivel de pH, oxígeno disuelto, presión o temperatura, como por lo menos una función de detección secundaria de manejo de riesgos o mitigación de riesgos.
