Abstract
La aplicación se refiere al problema de alear una fusión, preferentemente una fusión de titanio, con oxígeno mediante la adición de artículos formados, por ejemplo, gránulos que contienen una aleación maestra, por ejemplo Ti02. Los artículos deben dispersarse completa y homogéneamente en la fusión mientras que el contenido de carbono de la fusión debe permanecer por debajo de un máximo permisible, preferentemente por debajo de 0.04% en peso. El artículo formado puede comprender también hierro o paladium. Para resolver este problema, el artículo formado consiste de 70 a 82% en peso de una aleación maestra y de 18 a 30% en peso de un polímero orgánico con alto contenido de carbono como, por ejemplo, etileno-acetato de vinilo o un polietileno de baja densidad. La dispersión homogénea se logra, por ejemplo, mediante artículos formados que tienen un tamaño similar a las demás materias primas alimentadas cuando se agregan a la fusión.
