Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un sistema para reparación de fracturas de acetábulo, caracterizado porque comprende: una placa para hueso configurada para fijarse a una porción no plana de la pelvis en una dirección del hueso hacia la placa para hueso, teniendo dicha placa para hueso un cuerpo alargado en dirección longitudinal, el cual tiene una cara superior, una cara inferior opuesta a la cara superior y caras laterales opuestas que se extienden entre la cara superior y la cara inferior y presentan una pluralidad de pares de surcos opuestos entre sí configurados para permitir la flexión lateral de la placa para hueso; una pluralidad de orificios que están alineados a lo largo del eje longitudinal de la placa para hueso y se extienden a través de las caras superior e inferior del cuerpo alargado, estando cada orificio al menos parcialmente definido por una pared lateral cada que se extiende de la cara superior a la cara inferior del cuerpo y tiene una superficie que es substancialmente plana y está en ángulo hacia el interior en una dirección de la cara superior hacia la cara inferior del cuerpo de la placa para hueso, para prevenir la rotación de la cabeza del perno dentro del orificio; un perno sin rosca externa que comprende un vástago hueco dimensionado para pasar a través de cualquiera de la pluralidad de los orificios del cuerpo alargado de la placa para hueso, definiendo dicho vástago tanto una abertura en el extremo distal del mismo, como un eje longitudinal y teniendo roscas internas que están configuradas para acoplarse cooperativamente con las roscas externas de un tornillo y; una cabeza dimensionada para cooperar con la pared lateral de cualquiera de la pluralidad de orificios para evitar que el perno pase completamente a través de un orificio de la pluralidad de orificios, cuando el vástago del perno es avanzado a través del orificio en dirección distal y dentro de la pelvis, a través de una superficie interna de la pelvis, de tal manera que la cabeza del perno está configurada para permitir la traslación con respecto a la pared lateral cuando la cabeza del perno está dentro de la pared lateral, para permitir la reducción tridimensional de los fragmentos de la fractura, teniendo además dicha cabeza una superficie que está configurada para cooperar con la pared lateral de cada orificio para evitar que el perno rote con respecto al eje longitudinal conforme un tornillo se hace avanzar a través de la abertura en el extremo distal del perno y se acopla con las roscas internas del perno; un ensamble de alineación con una barra guía sustancialmente lineal; un primer brazo de traslación configurado para trasladarse selectivamente en relación a la barra guía sin rotación con respecto ella; un accionador configurado para la transición entre una posición suelta y una posición fija, de tal forma que cuando el accionador está en la posición suelta, el brazo de traslación puede trasladarse con respecto a la barra guía y cuando el accionador está en la posición fija, el brazo de traslación no puede trasladarse con respecto a la barra guía y; medios para introducir el perno dentro de la pelvis verdadera, comprendiendo dichos medios un cable flexible que termina en un extremo proximal, un sujetador que define un lumen dimensionado para recibir el cable flexible y tiene un sistema de sujeción configurado para cambiar entre un estado traslacional en el que se permite que el sujetador se traslade entre un estado de traslación en el que se permite la traslación del sujetador libremente sobre el cable y un estado fijo en el que el sujetador se fija con respecto al cable, teniendo además el sujetador una punta alargada que se recibe en una abertura definida en la cabeza del perno tal como para alinear los ejes longitudinales del sujetador y el perno, de tal manera que cuando el sujetador esta fijo con relación al cable y la punta del sujetador se recibe dentro del perno, el movimiento del cable en una primer dirección causa o mantiene el contacto entre el sujetador y el perno y dicho contacto causa que el perno se mueva en la primer dirección y el movimiento del cable en una segunda dirección retira a la punta del sujetador del perno.
