Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a método mejorado para producir hidróxido de metal alcalino, mediante la electrólisis de una solución salina acuosa que contiene iones haluro en una celda electrolítica, caracterizado por mezclar la solución en el comportamiento estabilizador de la celda electrolítica mientras que se electroliza la solución salina en la celda electrolítica en un voltaje de hasta 6 volts, y a una densidad de corriente de hasta 0.620 amperios/cm2, para producir una solución de hidróxido de metal alcalino en el comportamiento estabilizador de concentración esencialmente uniforme.
