Abstract

La presente descripción se refiere a la señalización de parámetros de compensación adaptativa de muestra (SAO) determinados para minimizar un error entre una imagen original y una imagen reconstruida en operaciones de codificación y decodificación de video. Un método de decodificación de SAO incluye obtener información de fusión de SAO hacia la izquierda codificada contextualmente e información de fusión de SAO hacia arriba codificada contextualmente de una corriente de bits de una unidad de codificación más grande (LCU); obtener información de activación/desactivación de SAO codificada contextualmente con respecto a cada componente de color, de la corriente de bits; si la información de activación/desactivación de SAO indica realizar una operación de SAO, obtener información de valor de compensación absoluto para cada categoría de SAO codificada por derivación con respecto a cada componente de color, de la corriente de bits; y obtener una de la información de posición de banda y la información de clase de borde codificadas por derivación con respecto a cada componente de color, de la corriente de bits.
