Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición catalítica mejorada para la conversión de hidrocarburos, que tiene una selectividad adecuada y realizad para la conversión y desmetalización de cargas las cuales contienen grandes cantidades de materiales de hidrocarburos con punto de ebullición mayor a 566°C, caracterizada porque comprende un compuesto que consiste desde 5 hasta cerca de 50 por ciento de un metal del grupo VIB, un compuesto del mismo que se puede descomponer térmicamente a un óxido, ó desde 1 hasta cerca de 12 por ciento de un metal del grupo VIII, ó un compuesto del mismo que se puede descomponer termicamente a óxido, o un compuesto el cual comprende una mezcla de los metales de los grupos VIB y VIII, ó compuestos de los mismos que se pueden descomponer térmicamente a óxidos, medidos como óxidos, y un óxido inorgánico poroso como base, el catalizador comprende; cuando el catalizador es del tamano que oscila desde 0.005cm hasta 0.05cm de tamaño promedio del diámetro de la partícula, cuando menos cerca de 20 por ciento de su volúmen total de poro de diámetro absoluto, dentro de una fluctación desde 150 Aohasta cerca de 250Ao, cuando el tamaño del catalizador esde un tamano que oscila desde 0.1016cm. hasta cerca de 0.3175cm. de tamano promedio el diámetro de la partícula, cuando menos cerca de 15 por ciento de su volúmen total de poro de diámetro absoluto dentro de una fluctación desde 165 Ao hasta cerca de 265 Ao; un área de superficie dentro de una fluctuación de 200m2/g hasta cerca de 600m2/g y volúmen de poro oscilando desde 0.8cm3/g hasta cerca de 3.0cm3/g.
