Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con filtrado de desbloqueo, el cual puede ser aplicado ventajosamente para codificación y decodificación de señal de imagen o de video, por bloques. En particular, la presente invención se relaciona con la realización de una decisión eficiente y precisa de si se aplica o no filtrado de desbloqueo en un bloque de imagen. La decisión eficiente y precisa se obtiene al realizar decisiones individuales de si se aplica o no filtrado de desbloqueo para segmentos de un límite entre bloques de imagen adyacentes, en donde la decisión individual se basa en pixeles comprendidos en un subconjunto de líneas de pixel de las que están compuestos los bloques de imagen.
