Abstract

Se describen superficies libres de escarcha y métodos para fabricar dichas superficies. Las superficies libres de escarcha reducen el desarrollo de hielo, evitan la condensación de vapor y reducen la fuerza de adhesión entre el hielo y un substrato sólido. Las superficies pueden ser partes usadas en dispositivos en donde se pueden obtener propiedades súper-hidrofóbicas después y durante la fabricación del dispositivo. Las propiedades súper-hidrofóbicas son el resultado de agrupamientos de óxido de aluminio hechos sobre dichas superficies.
