Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para filtrar contaminantes de un líquido, que comprende: proporcionar un líquido que comprende un aceite y sólidos suspendidos; hacer pasar el líquido a través de un recipiente de filtro, el recipiente de filtro comprende medios de cáscara de nuez, un sistema de tubo de aspiración, una zona periférica entre una pared lateral del sistema de tubo de aspiración y una pared lateral del recipiente; interrumpir el flujo del líquido a través del recipiente; hacer pasar un primer fluido a través de medio filtrante y el sistema de tubo de aspiración en una dirección contraria a un flujo del líquido, para provocar de esta manera que el medio filtrante gire; hacer pasar un segundo fluido a través del medio filtrante y la zona periférica en una dirección contraria a un flujo del líquido; impulsar el flujo del segundo fluido a través del medio filtrante y la zona periférica mientras que continúa pasando el primer fluido a través del medio filtrante y el sistema de tubo de aspiración; eliminar al menos una porción del aceite y sólidos suspendidos del recipiente de filtro; interrumpir el flujo del primer fluido y el segundo fluido; y restablecer el flujo del líquido a través del recipiente de filtro.
