Abstract

La invención se refiere a un producto alargado de reparación quirúrgica que comprende un cable cuya rigidez a la flexión puede disminuir, cuyo miembro fibroso es un cable termoendurecible que comprende al menos 50% en masa del hilado de polietileno de alto rendimiento. El producto muestra una tenacidad muy alta, combinada con una rigidez a la flexión inicial relativamente alta que se reduce significativamente después de doblar o flexionar el miembro, sin cambios dimensionales significativos; y permite un manejo tanto fácil como bien controlado y buenas características de atado de nudos. La invención se refiere también a un método para elaborar dicho producto alargado.
