Abstract
La presente invención pertenece a un dispositivo y método de procesamiento de imágenes por el cual es posible evitar una caída en la calidad de imagen debido a la codificación y descodificación, La presente invención se proporciona con: una unidad de cuantificación que cuantifica todos los elementos de un bloque actual al utilizar el coeficiente de ponderación de 1 cuando un proceso de transformada ortogonal se salta para el bloque actual, y que cuantifica cada elemento del bloque actual utilizando una matriz de cuantificación cuando el proceso de transformada ortogonal se lleva a cabo en el bloque actual; una unidad de codificación que codifica el coeficiente del bloque actual el cual se cuantifica por medio de la unidad de cuantificación; y una unidad de transferencia para transferir los datos codificados de bloque actual el cual se obtiene al codificarse por medio de la unidad de codificación. La presente invención puede aplicarse, por ejemplo, a un dispositivo de procesamiento de imágenes.
