Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método de transferencia de fluidos entre un primer buque, llamado pontón (1), y un segundo buque (2), llamado lanzadera, de acuerdo con lo cual la lanzadera se posiciona a una distancia predeterminada de la lanzadera (1), y un conducto de transferencia de fluido flexible (7) se guía desde el pontón a la lanzadera (2). El método se caracteriza porque la lanzadera (2) se coloca en una posición en donde la lanzadera se encuentra lateralmente desviada del pontón (1) mientras que se encuentra esencialmente paralela al eje longitudinal del pontón, y se provee un sistema de transferencia de fluido (7, 9, 28), el cual permite a la lanzadera ser movida en las direcciones, lateral y longitudinal, con relación al pontón, durante una transferencia. La invención podrá utilizarse para la transferencia de gas natural licuado.
