Abstract
Se describe una turbina helicoidal que está operativamente conectada al menos a un sistema generador, para generar energía eléctrica. El desempeño del sistema es optimizado por el control del ángulo de operación entre el eje longitudinal de la turbina y la dirección de flujo de corriente, y mediante el control de una proporción de separación de la turbina. Para las operaciones con viento, la forma de V es libremente giratoria hacia el viento. Para operaciones de marea bidireccional, la forma de V es parte de una estructura flotante, colocada en la corriente y anclada al piso.
