Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para fabricar una tableta de café soluble que comprende los siguientes pasos sucesivos: tomar una cantidad de una composición de café que comprende café, en donde el café consiste en partículas de café soluble; compactación de la composición de café para formar un producto de café compactado de forma tridimensional; humectación de dicho producto de café compactado para humedecer la superficie exterior del producto compactado; secado del producto compactado humedecido para formar la tableta de café soluble; dicho método hace posible formar una tableta de café soluble que tiene una parte interna y una parte externa que rodea completamente a la parte interna, con la parte externa teniendo una densidad mayor que la densidad de la parte interna; la parte interna es un núcleo poroso que promueve la disolución de la tableta y la parte externa forma una corteza endurecida gruesa con una densidad mayor que la densidad del núcleo, incrementando así la resistencia mecánica de la tableta.
