Abstract

Un método para determinar la existencia de una fractura en una formación que rodea un hoyo perforado a través de formaciones rocosas de subsuperficie incluye calcular la resistividad vertical, la resistividad horizontal, la inclinación de formación aparente, el azimut de formación aparente y la resistividad axial para una pluralidad de separaciones longitudinales del instrumento usando las mediciones de un instrumento de registro de pozo de inducción triaxiales dispuesto en la formación.
