Abstract
La presente invención proporciona un proceso para el manejo de los desechos de sulfuro de carbonilo y los haluros metálicos de desecho producidos en los procesos industriales y, más particularmente en procesos de cloración. El proceso incluye las etapas de hidrolizar el sulfuro de carbonilo para producir una corriente de desecho que contiene sulfuro de hidrógeno y sulfurar la corriente que contiene el sulfuro de hidrógeno resultante con una solución de los haluros metálicos de desecho.
