Abstract

Una embarcación desnatadora de petróleo que tiene un casco y una cubierta que forman uno o más compartimientos interiores, en donde el casco comprende una sección de proa o delantera, una sección media, una sección de popa o posterior y una instalación desnatadora de petróleo. Teniendo la instalación desnatadora de petróleo primera y segunda paredes laterales separadas (talón de quilla) (SKEG) que se extienden verticalmente hacia abajo desde el casco inferior inclinado, una placa inferior desnatadora que se extiende entre y se fija en las secciones de extremo inferiores de cada una de las paredes laterales (SKEG), en donde la placa inferior desnatadora tiene al menos una abertura de descarga en su sección de borde delantero y una instalación de placa de vertedero. La placa de vertedero con las paredes laterales, la placa inferior desnatadora y el casco inferior inclinado forman una entrada para recibir el agua que contiene petróleo desnatado y un compartimiento posterior colocado hacia atrás de la placa de vertedero para recolectar el agua que contiene petróleo desnatado que pasa sobre el borde superior de la placa de vertedero.
