Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento mejorado para producir una espuma flexible de poliuretano, mediante una única operación, caracterizado porque consiste en hacer reaccionar y espumar simultáneamente una mezcla de reacción que contiene: un reactivo de poliol de poliéster que contiene un promedio de, por lo menos, dos grupos hidroxilo por molécula en la cual la proporción de los equivalentes -NCO totales del poliisocianato con respecto a los equivalentes de hidrógeno activo totales del poliol de poliéster es de 0.8 a 1.5 equivalentes de -NCO por equivalente de hidrógeno activo; un reactivo de poliisocianato que contiene, por lo menos, dos grupos isocianatos por molécula en la cual la proporción de los equivalentes -NCO totales del poliisocianato con respecto a los equivalentes de hidrógeno activo totales del poliol de poliéster es de 0.8 a 1.5 equivalente de -NCO por equivalente de hidrógeno activo; un agente hinchador de desde aproximadamente 1 hasta aproximadamente 30 partes en peso por 100 partes en peso del material de partida del poliol de poliéster; un catalizador de amina, de desde aproximadamente 0.2 hasta aproximadamente 8 partes en peso por 100 partes en peso del estabilizador que comprende copolímeros de bloque de polixiloxano-polixialquileno desde aproximadamente 0.15 hasta aproximadamente 4 partes en peso por 100 partes en peso del reactivo del poliol de poliéster en donde las reacciones de espumación y de formación de uretano se efectúan sin la aplicación de calor externo y la espuma resultante se cura mediante calentamiento de la espuma a una temperatura entre aproximadamente 150°C. durante aproximadamente 10 a aproximadamente 60 minutos.
