Abstract
La presente invención refiere a un método para producir una composición de fertilizante que contiene sulfato de potasio a partir de una corriente de proceso de residuo que contiene sulfato de sodio de un proceso de producción de baterías o de un proceso de reciclaje de baterías, en donde la corriente de proceso de residuo se obtiene del proceso de producción de baterías o del proceso de reciclaje de baterías, en donde la corriente de proceso de residuo se obtiene de la producción de baterías que comprenden al menos sodio e hierro (Na, Fe) o se obtiene del reciclaje de baterías que comprenden al menos sodio e hierro (Na, Fe); opcionalmente se proporciona agua; se proporciona cloruro de potasio; y se proporciona una mezcla que comprende dicha agua opcional, cloruro de potasio y la corriente de proceso de residuo, y se permite que reaccione, obteniéndose sulfato de potasio.
