Abstract

Las modalidades descritas permiten convertir señales de audio capturadas en varios formatos por varios dispositivos de captura en un número limitado de formatos que pueden ser procesados por un códec de audio (por ejemplo, códec de Servicios de Voz y Audio Inmersivo (IVAS)). En una modalidad, una unidad de simplificación del dispositivo de audio recibe una señal de audio capturada por uno o más dispositivos de captura de audio acoplados al dispositivo de audio. La unidad de simplificación determina si la señal de audio está en un formato que es soportado/no soportado por una unidad de codificación del dispositivo de audio. Sobre la base de la determinación, la unidad de simplificación, convierte la señal de audio en un formato que es soportado por la unidad de codificación. En una modalidad, si la unidad de simplificación determina que la señal de audio está en un formato espacial, la unidad de simplificación puede convertir la señal de audio en un formato espacial "intermedio" soportado por la codificación.
