Abstract
Sistemas y métodos que operan una red de satélite de haz puntual. Una forma de realización de ejemplo proporciona un sistema de difusión por satélite. El sistema incluye un procesador electrónico acoplado comunicativamente a un satélite y un equipo de usuario. El procesador electrónico recibe una pluralidad de señales portadoras, cada una de las cuales lleva información idéntica de programas de difusión o multidifusión. Para cada una de la pluralidad de señales portadoras, el procesador electrónico genera uno de una pluralidad de haces puntuales para su difusión por el satélite dentro de un área de cobertura. El equipo de usuario utiliza de manera constructiva las señales portadoras recibidas de la pluralidad de haces puntuales adyacentes para decodificar la información de programa.
