Abstract

Un dispositivo de cómputo realiza un método de decodificación de video al reconstruir un bloque de luma que corresponde a un bloque de croma; que busca un subgrupo de una pluralidad de muestras de luma circundantes reconstruidas en un orden predefinido para identificar una muestra de luma máxima y una muestra de luma mínima; computa una muestra de luma máxima muestreada descendentemente que corresponde a la muestra de luma máxima; computa una muestra de luma mínima muestreada descendentemente que corresponde a la muestra de luma mínima; genera un modelo lineal utilizando la muestra de luma máxima muestreada descendentemente, la muestra de luma mínima muestreada descendentemente, la primera muestra de croma reconstruida, y la segunda muestra de croma reconstruida; computa las muestras de luma mínimas muestreadas descendentemente de muestras de luma del bloque de luma reconstruido, en donde cada muestra de luma muestreada descendentemente corresponde a una muestra de croma del bloque de croma; y predice las muestras de croma del bloque de croma al aplicar el modelo lineal a las muestras de luma mínimas muestreadas descendentemente correspondientes.
