Abstract

Un artefacto para elaborar una bebida que comprende: un conducto que define una trayectoria de flujo de líquido para el líquido; una bomba para mover el líquido bajo presión a lo largo de la trayectoria de flujo y configurada para funcionar en un primer modo y un segundo modo, diferente al primer modo, una unidad de sensor configurada para determinar una primera velocidad de flujo del líquido en la trayectoria de flujo cuando la bomba funciona en el primer modo y determinar una segunda velocidad de flujo cuando la bomba funciona en el segundo modo; y un controlador acoplado operativamente con la bomba y la unidad de sensor y configurado para hacer que la bomba conmute del primer modo al segundo modo si la primera velocidad de flujo está por debajo de un primer umbral y hacer que la bomba conmute del segundo modo al primer modo si la segunda velocidad de flujo está por encima de un segundo umbral. En el segundo modo, la bomba hace que el líquido se mueva bajo mayor presión que en el primer modo para al menos ayudar a resolver la cavitación.
