Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con un proceso para reducir el contenido de MOSH y/o MOAH de aceite vegetal seleccionado del grupo que consiste en aceite a base de palma, aceite a base de manteca de cacao y cualquier mezcla de los mismos, en donde el proceso comprende la etapa de someter aceite vegetal a una evaporación de recorrido corto, en donde la evaporación de recorrido corto se realiza a una presión menor que 1 mbar, y condiciones de procesamiento adicionales ya sea: a1) a una temperatura de evaporador de entre 210 y 240 °C, y con una velocidad de alimentación por área unitaria de superficie del evaporador del equipo de evaporación de recorrido corto de 35 a 105 kg/h.m2, o a2) a una temperatura de evaporador de 245 a 300 °C, y con una velocidad de alimentación por área unitaria de superficie del evaporador en un intervalo de 110 y 170 kg/h.m2, para obtener por lo tanto un aceite vegetal retenido y un destilado. La presente invención se relaciona además con el uso de evaporación de recorrido corto para reducir el contenido de MOSH y/o MOAH de aceite vegetal.
