Abstract

Un sistema de aplicación de adhesivo para una máquina de colocación de bloques automatizada, el sistema de aplicación de adhesivo incluye: (a) una fuente de suministro de adhesivo; y (b) un aplicador de adhesivo que incluye: i) un contenedor para almacenar un depósito de adhesivo recibido de la fuente de suministro de adhesivo a través de una línea de suministro de adhesivo; ii) una tapa montada en el contenedor para tapar sustancialmente el depósito de adhesivo; y iii) un rodillo de adhesivo acoplado de forma giratoria al contenedor, de tal modo que, al hacerlo girar, el adhesivo del depósito es arrastrado hacia arriba y alrededor de por lo menos una parte del rodillo de adhesivo, en donde, en uso, el adhesivo se transfiere del rodillo de adhesivo a una superficie inferior de un bloque a medida que el bloque se desplaza a lo largo del rodillo.
