Abstract

Un método de producción de una trama fibrosa que comprende fibras de ácido poliláctico, en el cual (a) una capa de fibras que comprende fibras de ácido poliláctico y opcionalmente fibras adicionales en una disposición aleatoria de fibras es colocada sobre un sustrato, (b) al ejercer una primera presión sobre la capa de fibras, primero se produce una malla previamente compactada suelta, cuya resistencia al desgarro permite el puenteo no soportado de una extensión antes de que la malla se desgarre, (c) la malla previamente compactada pasa a continuación a través del punto de presión de una calandria, en donde se produce, en el punto de presión, un patrón de regiones de compresión de puntos o líneas, en donde las fibras en las regiones de compresión son sometidas a una segunda presión mayor que la primera presión, junto con una temperatura de manera que ocurre una fusión de las fibras de ácido poliláctico.
