Abstract
La presente descripción proporciona un tubo termocontraíble de doble capa que tiene: una capa polimérica interna con un espesor t1 y un diámetro externo D1; y una capa polimérica externa, expandida, con un espesor t2' y un diámetro externo D2' obtenida expandiendo un tubo de polímero de D2 a D2' y de t2 a t2' a una temperatura seleccionada, de manera que D2' - 2(t2') > D1, en donde un anillo cortado de una sección transversal del tubo termocontraíble de doble capa, se corta en un rectángulo y se sujeta en los extremos cortados mediante asas con tensión dentro de un DMA, y se somete un barrido de temperatura de 3ºC/minuto a una frecuencia de 1 Hz desde el inicio de una endoterma de fusión de la capa polimérica interna a aquélla de la capa polimérica externa, expandida, que es mayor que 1ºC y menor que 12ºC. La descripción comprende además, métodos asociados para preparar y utilizar tales tubos, así como los productos que incluyen tales tubos.
