Abstract
Se describe una boquilla sumergida (1) a través de la cual se puede verter acero fundido desde una artesa al interior de un molde, en donde dicha boquilla comprende: un cuerpo sustancialmente tubular (2), que se extiende desde un primer extremo (3) hasta un segundo extremo (4); un pasaje (5), que se extiende a través del cuerpo tubular (2) a lo largo de un eje longitudinal (A) desde el primer extremo (3) hacia el segundo extremo (4); al menos un puerto de entrada (6), que desemboca en el pasaje (5) en dicho primer extremo (3); una pluralidad de puertos de salida (8), que desembocan en el pasaje (5) en una región (7) adyacente al segundo extremo (4); y al menos un inserto giratorio (10); caracterizada porque la boquilla sumergida (1) con el por lo menos un inserto giratorio (10) está configurada de manera que un metal fundido que ingrese a la boquilla sumergida (1) en el por lo menos un puerto de entrada (6) fluya a través del pasaje (5) y alrededor del inserto giratorio (10) y salga de la boquilla de entrada sumergida (1) a través de la pluralidad de puertos de salida (8), de tal manera que la rotación del inserto giratorio (10) sea impulsada por la corriente de metal fundido.
