Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con una composición que comprende una dispersión acuosa de partículas de carbonato de cerio (III) que tiene un tamaño de partícula de promedio z dentro del promedio de 5 nm a 500 nm, cuya composición comprende adicionalmente un ligando de cubierta; la composición es útil como un aditivo en las formulaciones de recubrimientos que contienen polímero, pigmentos, colorantes o tintes o una combinación de los mismos, para promover la retención de color y atenuar la formación no deseada de color en recubrimientos formados a partir de estas formulaciones.
