Abstract

Métodos, sistemas y aparatos, que incluyen programas informáticos, para realizar un análisis secundario incremental de lecturas de secuencias de ácido nucleico. El método puede incluir (i) obtener primeros datos que describen una pluralidad de primeras lecturas generadas por un dispositivo de secuenciación de ácido nucleico durante un primer intervalo de lectura, (ii) obtener segundos datos que describen una pluralidad de segundas lecturas generadas por el dispositivo de secuenciación de ácido nucleico durante un segundo intervalo de lectura que se realiza después del primer intervalo de lectura, en donde mientras se obtienen los segundos datos: (a) proporcionar, mediante el dispositivo de secuenciación de ácido nucleico, los primeros datos como una entrada a una unidad de mapeo y alineación, (b) recibir, desde la unidad de mapeo y alineación, resultados de alineación, y (c) almacenar los resultados de alineación recibidos, y, después de eso (iii) instruir la unidad de mapeo y alineación para comenzar la alineación de los segundos datos que representan la segunda pluralidad de lecturas para la secuencia de referencia.
