Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for use by motorcyclists, cyclists or similar, which allows the outside of the rider's foot to be kept more elevated by providing the distance needed in motorcycle stopping manoeurves, thereby significantly improving the support and stability of the motorcyclist-motorcycle unit. The device comprises an oversole (2) disposed over the sole of the user's footwear and which extends between the area of the metatarsals and the distal phalanges of the foot, the oversole (2) having slits (4) on part of the surface thereof. The device allows the tip (3) of the device to be adjusted vertically using the oversole (2) and extends between the tip (3) and the outside lateral (5) of the footwear.
