Abstract

Se describe un método de adquisición de datos de nube de puntos implementado por computadora para adquirir datos de nube de punto del interior de un equipo de minería, el método comprendiendo: adquirir de un sensor, un primer conjunto de datos y un segundo conjunto de datos, en donde cada conjunto de datos comprende puntos de datos en coordenadas; extraer características del primer y segundo conjunto de datos; alinear el primer y segundo conjunto de datos utilizando las características extraídas; combinar el primer y segundo conjunto de datos en datos de nube de puntos; estimar una geometría del equipo de minería con base en los datos de nube de puntos; e identificar mediante el uso de los datos de nube de puntos una región de la geometría estimada indicando datos insuficientes.
