Abstract
Un método para detectar defectos en tuberías no anidadas o tubería de revestimiento incluye adquirir un primer conjunto de datos a partir de una herramienta electromagnética (``EM´´) que se corre por dentro de una primera tubería no anidada. El método incluye además calibrar los datos para reducir los efectos de una segunda tubería no anidada, identificar una ubicación de un defecto en la primera tubería no anidada o la tubería de revestimiento, y ajustar los datos para compensar la excentricidad si el defecto está en la tubería de revestimiento. El método incluye además realizar un algoritmo de inversión sobre los datos, donde el algoritmo de inversión fue desarrollado para una configuración de tubería única.
